Congratulations to Leo who just completed our Digital Essentials course and is now going on to complete a FSK10219 Certificate I in Skills for Vocational Pathways!
Leo joined our Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) Program after being out of the workforce for 12 years while living with a disability. Originally qualified in several areas—including marine engineering and metal trades across the oil, gas and mining industries—Leo found that the current labour market is not what it once was. Due to these changes, Leo found it necessary to embark on a journey of self-development to remain competitive when applying for new roles.
After a rocky start with other providers, Leo’s learning journey turned a corner when he enrolled with Pivot Training. Through the SEE Program, Leo strengthened his computer skills and learned how to stand out in a competitive job market. Since completing the course, he’s been applying his new knowledge in real-life situations, giving him greater confidence and a strong sense of satisfaction as he works towards his future goals. Leo is keen to continue applying his skills through further study and more advanced courses.
Leo shared that the quality of training has helped him gain the skills and confidence that he aspired to accomplish.
