Thank you for considering nominating to become a Disability Advisory Panel (DAP) member. The DAP will comprise of up to six (6) and no less than four (4) Eighty9 Limited participants, including a chairperson. No more than 60% of the DAP will be from one State (SA or WA). A Participant is defined as a current, or former, Eighyt9 Ltd client across any program.
Representatives can be someone who has a lived experience of any of Eighty9 programs, works in or is actively engaged in the disability sector or a family member of such a person.
As far as practicable, the composition of the DAP will reflect the widest access and inclusion perspectives of engaged in Eighty9 Ltd programs, their families and carers.
DAP meetings are planned for the last Tuesday of every third month (quarterly/four times a year). The meetings will be a combination of online and in person depending on the needs of the members. In the application process, please outline your preference for work hours, after hours or both for meeting times. These days and times may change in the future and will be decided by the DAP themselves.
The initial meeting will be held on Tuesday 27th May 2025, time TBD.

Applications close 5pm Friday 2nd May 2025.
Applicants can prepare their statement and support their claim for membership on the DAP via alternative formats including verbal and visual recorded statements. If this is the preferred method of communication of the applicant, these must be submitted via electronic format to support an application.
After the closing date, all complete applications received will be assessed against the selection criteria by the DAP selection subcommittee, with all successful and unsuccessful applicants advised of the outcome of the process.
